From Israel & Co. to itrek:
New Name, Same Mission

Since 2011, Israel & Co. has introduced more than 13,500 future leaders from some of the world’s leading MBA, Law, and Policy programs to Israel in a personal, authentic, and inspiring way. We have helped student leaders engage their fellow students with Israel in a way that allows each student to see the richness and complexity that makes up Israel.

We first launched our organization under the brand Israel & Co. in 2012 and branded the programs as itreks. We have decided to embrace that familiar name and create a clearer message of our organization’s mission and goals. Today, we are happy to announce we have given ourselves a timely face lift, and are relaunching our brand as “itrek,” to reflect our mission, achievements, and most importantly, our plans for the future.

itrek: One Cohesive Name

As our organization grew, we realized there was an incongruity with Israel & Co. and itrek each speaking to a different group. We wanted to reflect our core mission of introducing future leaders to Israel through week-long, peer led treks.  

Authentic Experiences in Israel

Over the past seven years,  we experienced rapid growth, and with our student leaders, brought more than 13,500 students from 76 different nationalities to experience Israel on peer-led trips. These trips are crafted by student leaders for their peers according to their field of study including business, law, and policy. The programs are unique and specialized, and include meeting members of parliament, speaking with top VC firms, seeing major historical sites, and of course having fun and experiencing the culture Israel is known for. Students are able to have an authentic, up close experience with Israel’s diverse culture, the complexities and richness of Israel, and the fast development of the country.

What’s New?

For us, the name “itrek” and our new brand represent the many facets of our program- innovation, diversity, and authenticity when graduate student leaders visit Israel. We want to continue providing experiences where each student can see Israel through their own special lens. Our new name and logo is a combination of landscape and an eye, in which the eye represents our mission of seeing a new perspective of Israel.

Stay Connected

With our new brand and focus on staying connected, we have created new ways for current and past participants and supporters to stay involved and see what’s happening on the ground. We’ll be sharing stories from our participants, how their Israel experience has affected them , and more about our new alumni network, lessons we’ve learned along the way, and more.  We are also active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn for you to follow what’s happening on the ground during itrek experiences in Israel.

 We’re excited for this next stage in our organization’s journey. As itrek, we hope to bring even more value to our leaders, participants and supporters and believe that our new brand reflects our mission clearly.
