Selecting a job is about more than just the name on the door. It’s about the people you’ll work with, the organization’s culture, and the group’s mission. itrek is looking for new talent to join our team and help us grow. That said, there are some key differences between itrek and any other job you might encounter, so here are seven reasons you might NOT want to work at itrek.

Scared of healthy debate? That might be an issue…The itrek team is full of different viewpoints and backgrounds. We enjoy spending time together, and never turn down the chance to have a meaty discussion! At itrek, you can go into a meeting where people will inevitably see an issue at least three different ways, debate it, then grab lunch together.
You’re a color-in-the-lines kind of person who doesn’t care to learn about other cultures. #NoJudgment, but that’s not who we are. So far, itrek has given students from 103 countries the opportunity to experience the richness and complexity of Israel.
You already have all the contacts you’ll ever need, thank you very much! At itrek, we interact with a constantly growing network full of lawyers, thought-leaders, policymakers, and businesspeople. We get consistent opportunities to learn from the top people in different industries in Israel — from members of the Knesset to justices of the Supreme Court to biotech and fintech innovators and CEOs of successful startups. Love of learning is a common bond on the team.
You hate city life. Sorry to break it to you, but if you don’t like the hustle and bustle of urban environments, unfortunately itrek might not be a fit for you. We’re all about feeling the pulse of the city and being in the center of city life, be it in NYC or Tel-Aviv. Our offices are in fun WeWork locations, and we participate as a team in the activities that WeWork offers, from Taco Tuesdays to Margarita Happy Hours. And we’re not above enjoying the free Kombrewcha when it’s available…

You love wearing suits. At itrek, we wear a lot of jeans. We break out the suits and blazers for some meetings, or when we want to feel dressed up. But if ath-leisure is your jam, be our guest!
