Sherri Zigman has always been active in the Jewish community, starting as president of her B’nai Brith Girls chapter in her teen years followed by leadership positions in two temple sisterhoods. Sherri currently sits on the board of the Utah Jewish Federation as chair of Women’s Engagement and Programming and Executive Secretary. She is a new board member for the National Jewish Center for Leadership and Learning. Sherri recently launched the Utah Federation’s first interfaith sisterhood with women from a ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints.
Sherri is an alumna of the Jewish Federation of North America’s Fisher Flight program and her husband, Marty, give 100% Jewishly. She will return to Israel for her 8th time this June where she and Marty will be studying at the Hartman Institute. They recently donated time on an IDF base through Sar-El. Their 21-year-old daughter, Aliya, is currently on a MASA program at a kibbutz in the lower Galilee.
In her professional life, Sherri served as an award-winning advertising executive with over 25+ years of experience selling national digital and print advertising across magazine, newspaper, digital and mobile for The New York Times and as owner of Zigman Media representing Town & Country, ELLE Decor, Veranda, and House Beautiful. Sherri earned an MBA from Columbia Business School.
