A high-touch leadership weekend for itrek’s Leaders — the people building this year’s Israel Treks on campuses around the world.
Three days alongside your fellow Leaders, itrek Alumni, your Tour Operator, and subject-matter experts. You’ll work on your trek, network with your peers, and learn from people who’ve done this before — many times.
itrek is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has facilitated tailored Israel Treks for more than 27,000 participants over the past 15 years. itrek empowers leaders to engage their networks in meaningful Israel experiences.

Every year, itrek brings together this season’s Leaders for a high-touch weekend providing them with the resources to set every Israel Trek up for success.

Eshet Tours is one of Israel’s leading travel companies. Established in 1987, it works across public and private markets, and holds partnerships with hundreds of hotels nationwide. Eshet organizes corporate and incentive travel, all tailored to the traveler’s needs.
All meals throughout the weekend will be served Kosher style. This means no pork or shellfish will be served, and meat and dairy will not be mixed in the same dish. If you require strictly Certified Kosher meals, or if you have other dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, gluten-free, etc.), please let us know in advance so we can make the proper arrangements.
Regarding Shabbat observance, please note that some programming on Shabbat may include microphones and on-screen presentations. Personal use of technology will not be required for participation, and we will do our best to maintain a Shabbat-friendly atmosphere on Friday evening.
Shabbat sessions in which moderator will use a microphone are indicated with:
Optional peer-led moments of observance (such as Kabbalat Shabbat and Havdalah) will also be available for those who wish to join. Please let us know in advance if you would like to join, so that we can make proper arrangements.
Our goal is to create a welcoming environment that respects the diverse religious practices of all participants. We will do our best to accommodate Jewish and non-Jewish religious requirements alike — we simply ask that you notify us in advance so we can prepare with care and respect.

Four steps between now, and the weekend that sets your Israel Trek up for success.
Your train or flight, ground transportation to the train station or airport in MD, hotel room, 1:1 sessions with your tour operator and PM, high-quality workshops and speakers that will equip you with the tools to lead your trek, delicious food/drink throughout the weekend, a killer DJ, and more!
You are responsible for getting to/from your base airport/train station. itrek does not cover any food before the Leadership Weekend program starts (Friday at 3:00pm) or after it ends (Sunday, 12:30pm), nor does it cover room service, hotel amenities, or additional transportation beyond what’s included (see “what’s included” FAQ above).
itrek will provide shuttle transportation between the airport/train station and the hotel. If your arrival or departure time does not align with the scheduled shuttles, an alternate solution will be made available. More details will be shared closer to the Accelerator Weekend. airport or get another code for a ride-sharing app. We’ll reach out with more information in the weeks leading up to the Leadership Weekend.
This year, you will have a chance to connect with your fellow Leaders, itrek Alumni Leaders, your Tour Operator, expert Tour Educators, the itrek Staff and several select supporters.
The weekend is combination of sessions, workshops, social activities, and individual work time, spread over the 3-day period. You will have time to work on your Israel Trek, network throughout the weekend, and meet with itrek alumni and other experts. Check back soon for a more detailed itinerary!
Attendance at the Accelerator Weekend is mandatory. If you are concerned about your ability to attend, talk to your Program Manager and we’ll try our best to work with you.
itrek pays for every Leader to have a double room with another Leader of the same gender. You may request a specific roommate and itrek will do it’s best to match you. itrek cannot accommodate single room requests because of the volume of rooms we have booked.
All accepted itrek Leaders are expected to attend, up to a maximum of three leaders per team. Exceptions may be considered.
All dietary restrictions, including Kosher food requests, should be indicated on your registration form. itrek will communicate any restrictions to the necessary personnel to ensure suitable food will be available at every meal.
Certified Kosher food will only be made available for those who indicate that dietary preference on their registration form. We cannot accommodate people who do not indicate on their registration that they require certified kosher meals. All other meals will be served Kosher-Style, which does not include forbidden animals, such as pork and shellfish, and does not contain both meat and milk/dairy products in the same dish or meal.
Everyone will need to provide a credit card or debit card at check in to cover incidentals (i.e. room service, damage, etc.).
Absolutely. We encourage you to interact and connect with all participants at Accelerator Weekend and we will intentionally create spaces and opportunities to facilitate that type of interaction.
