Basel Khalaila is currently a coordinator for public and media work for Palestinians in Israel at the “A Land For All” organization. He is a social and political activist with experience as a Knesset adviser, parliamentary chief of staff, and media consultant. He has a background in investigative journalism and documentary filmmaking. He holds a BA degree from the University of Haifa and two Master's degrees from Tel Aviv University and the University of Exeter. The Task Force on Arab Citizens of Israel is an educational resource center on Arab citizens and Jewish-Arab relations in Israel created by a coalition of major American Jewish organizations. Programs with Task Force Speaker Fellows are designed to foster honest exchange, mutual learning and meaningful engagement for groups with any level of familiarity with Arab society in Israel.
